Location: Can be office based or remote, but with travel required in the role, particularly across the home counties, London and South-East and South-West of England 

A bit about the role
Reporting to the Managing Director of Children's Services, you will provide dynamic strategic leadership to the England South Children's Services management team, alongside the National Director-England North, to deliver high quality, safe and efficient services throughout England in line with agreed contracts and practice standards. 

You will drive the delivery of both existing and new contracts and focus your attention on the significant growth planned in England South.  A key element of our growth strategy in England is increasing our foothold in the major cities, particularly London, so you will have demonstrable experience of engaging commissioners in a competitive commissioning environment and converting into successful and viable business.  We also plan to open new residential children's homes in the coming year, so you will ideally have experience of commissioning and/or managing the delivery of a range of children's services provision, including knowledge of children's homes at a senior level.
