This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the National FGM Centre. Having a UK wide remit, you will lead on supporting the objectives of the National FGM Centre.

The National FGM Centre works with professionals and in communities to educate and prevent Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), breast flattening, and child abuse linked to faith or belief (CALFB) as well as other forms of harmful practices. 

Social work qualified, you will have extensive post qualification experience of working across a range of cases, from early help to complex child protection. You will have experience working in a multi-agency environment dealing with a wide range of cases including child protection assessments and court cases. Specialist training to build knowledge will be provided.
