Job Opportunity with EPIC Fostering: Care Experienced Independent Panel Member - Self Employed Role

As part of our intention to register EPIC Fostering as a South West based Independent Fostering service, we are currently recruiting for a Care-Experienced Independent Panel Member.

The Panel will be made up of a broad range of experienced members and not limited to: Care Experienced Member(s), Social Worker(s), Education Professional(s), Foster Parent(s), Adoptive Parent(s). We welcome applications from a diverse range of individuals who have knowledge and/or experience of therapeutic parenting styles and trauma-informed practice.

The role requires a huge amount of reading, excellent communications skills, and the ability to contribute to Panel discussions in an open, honest, collaborative way. You must be able to come to your own recommendations, justifying your reasoning behind your recommendation(s).

Our Panel’s are held on Microsoft Teams, and are scheduled to be held on regular Wednesdays. Panel will start at 9:30am prompt. Payments start at £60 per case, with up to a maximum of 5 on a day, (though usually capped at 4). Safer recruitment processes apply and will include enhanced DBS checks and references.
