Location: Barnardo's Scotland Adoption Service, Glasgow Salary: £30,064.00 - £40,071.15 (FTE) Contract type: Permanent Hours: 22.2 Closing Date: 17 March 2023 Interview Date: Proposed date Thursday 30th March We are delighted to be recruiting for a post in our Support Team within the Barnardo's Scotland Adoption Service. The service is registered with the Care Inspectorate and has recently been inspected and achieved Grades of 5. The service has been providing support to all affected by adoption for over 40 years. We aim to support all those affected by adoption using a range of skills and approaches including individual support, family support and groupwork. The team also access and prepare files for records disclosure.
You must be social work qualified, for a minimum of 2 years, registered with SSSC and have experience in therapeutic interventions and experience, or interest in supporting search and reunions. Also working in partnership with other professionals and agencies dealing with a wide range of cases including delivering training, building positive relationships and working as part of a team.
