Member News from TACT: Celebrations and Harry Potter for our East Mids carers!

​We have been busy organising our Summer events for our young people and fostering families!

Already in the calendar are visits to Drayton Manor, Harry Potter and Spring Lakes. The level of interest we have had for these events shows that we’re on the right track!

For the first time, we will be hosting a summer celebration for our foster carers and young people in the East Midlands. This will be taking place at Twycross Zoo in July. Again, we are so pleased with the uptake of this event, as so many of our families have already confirmed their attendance.

The day will involve access to the Zoo and then a buffet and celebration later for all our amazing young people and foster carers, so a day full of fun and excitement!

​Events for our fostering families are so important as they provide opportunities to relax and have some fun. They are also a great way for our East Midlands team of foster carers to reconnect outside of our regular support groups.

We recently organised a foster carer meetup for our Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire team of foster carers. Here are some photos (along with some beautiful hats!)
