13/10/2023

Picture
We have a close-knit, highly skilled and experienced team here at Kasper. From social workers to business support, we welcome people who are genuinely interested in making a difference to youngsters’ lives.

We are looking to recruit sessional workers to support our families in Kent and Essex. The ideal candidate will be positive, patient, creative and passionate about working with children and young people! If you feel this could be you, please call Sharn in the referrals team for an informal chat on 01227 275985.

In addition, we are also actively recruiting for the following roles:

Support workers to foster carers (To cover maternity leave). 3 x 8-hour shifts on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

These are to provide direct personal, social and leisure care to young people in their foster home under the guidance of the foster carers. Initial support and training will be given via Kent SCP. Following this, personalised training will be given by the carers within their home environment. Following the maternity period ending it is highly likely, for the right candidate/person, that there will be further cover hours available.

Sessional Support Worker
A support worker to work alongside a young person with additional care and support needs in the community for 3-hour slots on a fortnightly basis, as the weekend. The aim is to increase young person's community presence, by using local leisure facilities to maximise her physical activity levels and socialisation opportunities.

To apply for either role, or for more information, please contact Kasper on 01227 275985.

Kasper Fostering follow safer recruitment practices and all applicants are subject to enhanced DBS and other safeguarding checks. All references are verified prior to engagement. The safeguarding of our children and families is our priority.
