We are looking for an experienced, skilled, talented and committed Assistant Director of Children's Services to lead, develop and deliver high quality services for children and young people in London. You would be responsible for a range of existing service provision and work as part of a fantastic team to bring in new business in line with our corporate strategy and managing staff teams to be the best they can be. The role currently has responsibility for mental health services, children's nurseries and Family Hubs. It would be great to have an Early Years or Family Health background, but this is by no means essential. We are really looking for the right person to be excited to lead services for children, grow our brand and business and work well as part of a team. The role sits as part of the London Senior Management Team and reports into the Head of London Supplementary Information: the service delivery is based in London, however the role is a hybrid working which can involve working from home or an office base. We will site you at an office closest to your home. Travel to London is required and can be weekly depending on service need. There is a requirement to be part of a senior manager on call rota, approximately 1 week in 8, which does not involve going out. What Barnardo's can offer:
