Job Opportunity with FFP Member, St Christopher's: Aftercare Manager – Isle of Man

Salary: £44,566 per annum (Relocation package of up to £3,000​) 
Contract Type: Permanent
Specific Hours: 40 hours per week
Closing Date: 06 December 2023

40 hours per week with some weekends, bank holidays work as required

About the Role

An exciting opportunity to manage a team of personal advisors working with young people aged 15-21 transitioning from the care system into the community. The role involves ensuring the service provision meets the needs of individual young people and that staff are given adequate support. You will also oversee a daily drop in service for young people to attend for general advice and support throughout the week.

Applicants should have
  • Substantial experience working with young people in a leadership role.
  • Professionally qualification – CQSW, DipSW, NVQ level 3.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexible working hours including weekends, bank holidays and on call duties where required.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management desirable.

​Recruitment Process
At St Christopher’s we are committed to the safeguarding of all children and young people in our care. During the recruitment process you will be expected to complete an online application form to ensure we capture essential information to meet legislation, best practice and vetting requirements.
