There is an opportunity to join the Barnardo's senior management team working across the South East region of England. The senior leadership team for the region, including our Assistant Directors Children's Services and School Principals provide oversight, guidance, supportive challenge and leadership presence for our teams and services across the region. The post therefore requires the applicant to be able to travel. Barnardo's does have a work from anywhere policy and the postholder will need to be confident in digital communication and remote working.

The successful post holder will be responsible for a varied portfolio of work in Children's Services operations encompassing all areas of Barnardo's Corporate Strategic aims. The building portfolio also includes the senior leadership oversight and development of further provision across the communities we serve in Essex and the wider South East region. This particular Senior Leader's portfolio currently includes oversight of a partnership held with HCRG Care Group to deliver the Essex Child & Family Wellbeing Service.
The successful postholder will work with senior colleagues across the region to ensure we continue to develop services to best meet the needs of children, young people and their families in line with our Barnardo's Corporate Strategic aims to achieve Better Outcomes for more Children.
