We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Children's Services leader to help shape and support Barnardo's strategy. We are an organisation that focuses where possible on early intervention and prevention, assisting families to achieve the best outcomes possible. You will be leading our Wiltshire and Dorset Locality, where we are key stakeholders particularly in Swindon Borough Council and the County of Wiltshire in the provision of Mental Health and Wellbeing Services. Our other services involve family support work in Dorset and disability work across Wiltshire. We are looking for an individual who has substantial experience in managing and developing services to meet the needs of children, young people and families as we have the ambition to increase our footprint. You will play an intrinsic part in our regional Cymru and South West Senior Leadership Team to ensure stable high quality services. We are looking for someone preferably who has lead children's mental health and wellbeing services, with an understanding of change management, and service design. You will need to have great interpersonal skills combined with excellent leadership and management experience, with a passion to improve the lives of our most vulnerable children and young people – is this you?
