We are recruiting a new Director of Fundraising and Marketing who will strategically lead a talented fundraising, brand and marketing team at an exciting time in the organisation's development.    

As the Director of Fundraising and Marketing you will provide leadership and direction on all aspects of the fundraising, brand and marketing strategy, holding budget responsibility in fundraising of £45million across all voluntary income streams (including £18million of Legacy income). You will lead a multi-disciplined, dedicated and high performing team and will work smartly and efficiently to ensure opportunities for major gifts to the work of the Barnardo's are stewarded and secured. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be a member of the Corporate Leadership Group and will drive forward innovative fundraising and marketing to fuel sustainable income growth for the charity.  
     
As the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, you will have extensive experience in leading large multi-disciplinary teams across fundraising and marketing. You will be strategic and comfortable working at leadership level, building strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally. Crucially, you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and be passionate about driving this agenda across the directorate.
