An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified social worker to become part of a well-established, dynamic team in one of Barnardo's family centres based in Bangor, County Down. Simpson Family Centre provides a range of assessments and education to parents and carers in partnership with the South-Eastern Trust. Using a strengths'-based approach, we always work with hope that parents and carers can be supported to make positive changes in order to care for their children. This is a full-time, fixed term post, however some consideration will be given to part-time working. There is also potential for this post to be extended subject to funding. Whilst the work with families is centre and community based, we support a hybrid model of working to include working from home as and when this is agreed. The details of this post are as follows: Post & Grade: Social Worker / Project Worker 3 / P31A Service/Location: Simpson Family Centre, 40 Manse Road, Bangor, County Down, BT20 3DE Contract: Full-time / 37 hours per week fixed-term until 31st March 2023. There is potential for extension subject to funding. Consideration will be given to part-time hours.
