Member Job Opportunity: Fair Ways - Quality Assurance Lead

Salary: £34,789 - £42,457 (FTE)
Specific Hours: 16 hrs Per Week

Where and when do we need you?
Working as part of our Quality Assurance Team you play your part in providing operationally independent oversight of the quality and safety of Fair Ways services, to recognise best practice and identify opportunities to raise standards so that the organisation continually improves and bring about lasting change.

In this role you will be involved exciting and rewarding things like:
  • Ensuring that all Fair Ways’ services receive quality assurance visits - this will include regulatory inspection visits as prescribed by regulations for children’s homes and the family centre, as well as establishing a quality assurance framework for all other services.
  • Formulating and producing high quality, analytical reports, passing these to relevant managers and regulatory bodies as required within required timescales.
  • Participating in the organisational ‘lessons learned’ process which is co-ordinated by the Quality Assurance Lead.
  • Identifying from quality assurance activity where there are opportunities for organisational learning and being involved in formulating plans to progress these.
  • Demonstrating effective communication skills, verbal, non-verbal and written as well as being reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

This role is offered on a 16 hr per week basis. One of the days worked must be a Friday however we can offer flexibility with the additional hours/days. This role will be a hybrid position, working from home, working from our central support office and visiting our range of services within the Solent area (and additional locations as required.)

You and your specialisms
Our internal community is core to achieving our mission of making a difference through passionate care, support, and education. To support this, you will have the following:
  • Proven experience in devising and implementing programs of change and improvement to services and specifically quality assuring or inspecting services.
  • Hold a Social Work Qualification or an NVQ Level 4/5 Registered Managers Award or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years management experience of running a regulated residential service for children or young adults or experience of managing and supervising teams of workers where safeguarding is central to the business of the team
