Young Ambassadors Board Are you passionate about making positive changes to the lives of children and young people in the UK? We're looking for 15 young people to join us in our mission of making sure the voices of children and young people are always heard. What is the Young Ambassadors Board?
The Young Ambassadors Board is an empowering way for young people, like you, to have a say in the running of Action for Children. And you get to gain new skills and experiences along the way. By taking part in discussions and activities, you'll play an important role in representing young people’s voices and making sure your views are heard. What will I do as a Young Ambassadors? Members of our Young Ambassadors Board will:
Is it free to join? Yes. This group is free to join, with meetings taking place online once a month What influence will I have? Your feedback and experiences will help to inform, shape and influence what we do and the decisions we make as a children’s charity. You'll work closely with staff from across Action for Children, including senior leaders and the trustees. There'll also be opportunities to travel across the country, take part in fun projects, exciting events, high-profile campaigns and so much more! Can I apply for the role? The Young Ambassadors Board is for young people from all backgrounds, aged between 13-25, who live in the UK. Anyone can apply, whether you have used our services before or not. We're particularly keen to hear from young people who have lived experience or knowledge in one or more of the following topics:
